Central African President Faustin-Archange Touadéra met Vladimir Putin on January 16 in Moscow. Little has filtered out of their interview, except the preliminary remarks in which he notably praised the aid provided by “brave Russian warriors” to his country, where Russia had sent mercenaries presented as military “instructors”.
