At least two people have died in an attack by Russia in Kharkiv today, says the city’s mayor Igor Terekhov.
According to Terekhov, 24 people were wounded in the attack. The Russian blow hit the hardware store. After the impact, a large fire broke out in the store.
President of Ukraine to Volodymyr Zelensky according to the store, there could have been more than 200 people inside.
Kharkiv is located in the northeastern part of Ukraine. Russia launched a large-scale ground offensive in the region two weeks ago.
Ukraine says it has stopped the Russian attack in the Kharkiv region.
