Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which started on February 24, continues unabated. The news from the Bryansk region, which is about 160 kilometers from Russia’s border with Ukraine, brought up the claim that the war spread to the borders of Russia. In the images from the region, it was seen that a major fire broke out in the Druzhba fuel depot, which is one of the world’s longest oil pipeline and one of the largest oil pipeline networks, and then at a military facility.
UKRAINE?
There was no detailed explanation about the fire because although the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations first published the details of the fire in the region, it later withdrew this post. Now, the possibility that the fires in question may have occurred after the Ukrainian attack is on the agenda.
ONE MORE FIRE
It was reported that a second fire probably started in the 120th arsenal of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate. No official statement has yet been made about the cause of the fire.
Residents of the area were evacuated from the houses around the burning oil tank.
