Russia had shot down a US made F 16 in Ukraine Zelenskiy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree days after one of Ukraine’s U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets crashed on Monday while repelling a Russian missile attack.

In a statement on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine, it was stated that Zelenskyy signed the decree on the dismissal of Olešchuk. In a statement made by the General Staff, it was reported that the Commander of the “Tsentr (Center)” Air Command, Anatoly Krivonojka, will temporarily assume the post of Air Force Commander.

ZELENSKY EXPLAINED ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Zelenskiy also stated in his post on his social media account that he decided to change the Air Force Commander and included the following statements:

“I am extremely grateful to all our military pilots, engineers, soldiers of mobile fire groups and air defense units. (I am grateful to) all those who are fighting to achieve results for Ukraine. We must do the same at the command level, we must become even stronger. We must take care of people, personnel, all our soldiers.”

A U.S. official told the Britain-based Reuters news agency that the crash did not appear to be caused by Russian fire and that possible causes, ranging from pilot error to mechanical failure, were still being investigated.

RUSSIA HIT A 12-STOREY BUILDING

In other news, it was reported that at least 6 people were killed and 59 people were injured in the Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv with guided bombs.
Head of the Kharkiv Region Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov, in a statement on his social media account, stated that Russia attacked Kharkiv with guided bombs.
Sinegubov said that a 12-storey apartment building in the city’s Industrialnoye district was hit and five vehicles were damaged, while a warehouse building and three houses in the Sloboda district were damaged in the attack.
