Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has been taken to hospital after arriving at the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesian officials said.
According to these Indonesian sources, it is a matter of heart problems, reports the AP news agency.
However, the Russian Foreign Ministry refutes the information about Lavrov’s hospital stay, reports the Russian state-run Tass with reference to the spokesperson Maria Zacharova, who calls the information “highly fake”. In a video clip that Zacharova published on Telegram, Lavrov is seen sitting in shorts and a t-shirt on a terrace.
Lavrov is representing Russia at the summit after President Vladimir Putin announced he did not plan to attend in person.
