The Russian Foreign Ministry claims that it will evaluate Trump’s speeches only after he returns to the White House.
Spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova commented on Wednesday the future president of the United States, Donald Trump’s talks about annexing Greenland to the United States.
Trump already announced before Christmas that Greenland should be annexed to the United States. On Tuesday, he added that he does not want to rule out the use of military force to get Greenland and the Panama Canal under US control.
Zaharova commented on the matter on Wednesday to Russian state media For Radio Sputnik.
In the interview, the spokesperson claimed that Russia will not evaluate Trump’s speeches until he begins his presidency at the end of January.
After Trump’s return to the presidency, the speeches in Russia may be “evaluated” and “analyzed” in more detail, Zaharova said.
