Russia claims to have shot down two Ukrainian drones over

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attack did not require any casualties.

Russia says it shot down two Ukrainian drones over Moscow early Monday morning. One of the drones fell near the Ministry of Defense building, which is located in the center of the city.

According to the authorities, there were no victims in the attacks.

Ukraine has so far not commented on Russia’s claim. The country has rarely claimed responsibility for attacks carried out on the side of Russia.

The alleged strikes came a day after Ukraine said it was retaliating for Russia’s missile strike on Odessa.

According to the Russian news agency Tassi, one of the drones shut down in Moscow fell on Komsomolski Street near the Ministry of Defense, and the other fell on Likacheva Street, a business center. Both streets were closed after the alleged attacks.

Ria Novosti news agency has released a video showing that the tall building has suffered some damage.

It has been done to Moscow, which is 500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, and the rest of Russia several drone strikes this year.
