Rushing after vacations to the warmth – that’s what the Örebro brothers think

– The customers who choose to book at the last minute are looking for sun and swimming. Then you probably still prefer a hot Spain to a rainy Sweden, says Michael Kapil, Marketing Manager at Ticket.

The most popular holiday countries are Spain and Greece, to classic destinations such as Malaga, Alicante, Mallorca, Crete and Rhodes. But Croatia, Cyprus and Turkey are also popular destinations.

No cheap vacations

The high demand combined with the fact that the travel companies still do not have as high a capacity as before the pandemic has pushed up the prices of travel, and there are no cheap getaways currently available.

– The trips to Spain departing in the next few weeks cost from SEK 7,000-8,000 per person including flights and accommodation for a week, while you can find trips to Greece and Turkey from SEK 5,000-6,000 per person. But if you have the opportunity to postpone the trip until after school starts in mid-August, you can find trips for under SEK 4,000 per person, says Michael Kapil.
