Due to a shortage of personnel, the rush-hour sprinters could no longer run at the end of 2022. This does not seem to be the case now, but in order to deploy the extra sprinters again, the level crossings will have to be adjusted. The House of Representatives has released 10 million euros for this, reports the municipality of Amersfoort. Once this work is completed, the trains on this route will run three times during rush hour from Harderwijk to Amersfoort. During the evening rush hour, three trains run in the other direction.
