The annual Ascension Cross at the Kwintelooyen recreational area in Rhenen will not take place this year. The province of Utrecht has not granted an exemption under the Nature Conservation Act. The organization of the more than forty-year-old motocross event wants to demonstrate through research that nature does not suffer from the event.
