Artists such as Anne-Lie Rydé, Klara Hammarström and Tomas Andersson Wij took to the stage to sing with the contestants. The Australian world star Dean Lewis was also there, and sang his song “Be alright” together with Luka Nemorin.

The performance was praised by the jury.

— This was such a perfect interweaving of your voices, said Katia Mosally.

The jury also gave several standing ovations during the evening. Ruby Lindén, who together with Cherrie performed “Lämna han”, made the entire jury stand up.

— I still have chills, I’m so proud of you, Cherrie said after the performance.

The program was also visited for the first time by a minister of culture, when Parisa Liljestrand (M) was a guest on “Idol”. She was interviewed by the program’s sidekick Anis Don Demina, and joked about having called the director Ruben Östlund a writer in SVT’s Morgonstudion earlier this week. When asked who her favorite artist is, Liljestrand replied:

— It’s probably quite simple, must be Ruben Östlund.

But two of the participants have now done their last program. When the viewers had their say, it was Ruby Lindén and Julien Keulen who had to leave “Idol”.
