Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) imposed penalties on broadcasts regarding trustee decisions, TAI attack broadcasts and daytime programs. In the information made by the supreme board, it was stated that all daytime programs that violated broadcasting principles, those who did not comply with the broadcast ban decisions of the courts, and discussion programs that included swearing were given upper limit penalties.
According to the statement made by RTÜK, the Supreme Council, which held its weekly ordinary meeting, decided to impose upper limit sanctions on TV 8, Kanal D, NOW, Beyaz TV, Show TV, ATV and Star TV for their daytime programs.
Akit TV, Beyaz TV, tv100, Kanal 3, Meltem TV, NTV, Show TV, Tele1, CNN Türk, TGRT Haber, SZC, Halk TV and Flash Haber, which did not comply with the broadcast ban imposed by the relevant court after the terrorist attack on TAI. An administrative fine above the upper limit was also imposed.
In addition, upper limit sanctions were imposed on Halk TV, NOW, Bursada Gündem, Tele1, SZC and Flash Haber for violations in the news programs they broadcast.
Berat TV and Kanal Ege were fined for their illegal herbal food supplement marketing broadcasts.
In the statement, it was emphasized that concrete steps would be taken against the damage caused by TV series to the family structure. (AA)
