Drama, arguments and lots of entertainment are inevitable with this concept. Reality TV fans in particular will be rubbing their hands together.
Unfortunately, despite this explosive mixture, not enough viewers tuned in. While the format is convincing on the streaming service RTL+, Unfortunately, the future of the show on free TV looks bleak. The broadcaster has now taken action.
Prominently separated is canceled – at least on TV
The third season has been available online via the Villa of the Exes since the beginning of April. It was not until mid-June that it was broadcast on linear television in double episodes. The last episodes, including the finale, were originally planned for July 11, 2024, but the station is completely changing its program again. After the last broadcast, the reality show made RTL the big loser in terms of ratings and the broadcaster pulled the plug. The last episodes will therefore only be available on the streamer RTL+.
