Royal Teen: Estelle

– Princess Estelle is social, outgoing and sporty. She has that hair swell that many teenage girls dream of. But everyday it is probably more of a tassel in her hair, it is a lot of basketball that applies to her, says Ebba Kleberg von Sydow, journalist and podders who have followed the royal house for many years.

A dream of Black Army

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel have chosen to include Estelle from the start from the public appearances, but for Prince Daniel it is a heart issue that she should be able to take part in everyday things as well.

– He has been very careful that it should be the usual element, at all costs. He has said that she will learn to stand in line, go subway and stand in the Black Army heel and feel the joy of a sports event, says Ebba Kleberg von Sydow.

The question is whether it is possible.

– As number two in the succession, she has a very odd life that is set out. But her modern and forward -looking parents do everything they can. But she always has security around her, she can’t stick down town and coffee.

Tough teens for Victoria

Crown Princess Victoria lived more protected during her teens, but Estelle has been trained early and made her assignment at the age of two.

– I think it is an active and conscious choice of parents. The Crown Princess has told herself how tough she thought it was during their teens so maybe they will try Estelle gradually, says Ebba Kleberg von Sydow.

“An ordinary girl”

What Estelle has so far shown by her personality speaks to her advantage, says Ebba Kleberg von Sydow.

– It is a cavo girl, whether it is happiness or upbringing we will never know. But it is an incredible asset in her future job to be curious and social. Being able to thrive and relax while the cameras are bathing and everyone shouts “Estelle!”, She seems to be happy with it.

In a few years, Estelle is 18 years old and the challenges ahead include, among other things, that she will get her personal space.

– It’s teenage years and she’s just an ordinary girl. The only thing you can hope is that the royal family manages to keep the balance so that she can still have her private sphere and have her teens. The Crown Princess had to study in the United States, it was important for her to get away and just be Victoria.
