Routes with multiple stops no longer worked correctly on the Android version of Google Maps. Fortunately, an update has just corrected the problem. It was time !
For many of us, Google Maps has become a faithful companion when traveling, but also in everyday life. Whether it’s to get to an appointment, check the travel time or simply find a nice little restaurant where you can have lunch, the Mountain View firm’s mapping service is always there, faithful to the post. Also, the slightest bug can quickly take on catastrophic dimensions and completely ruin navigation! Fortunately, Google has just fixed a particularly annoying bug.
Google Maps: the problem of steps finally resolved
Since the end of May, Google Maps has encountered a rather annoying problem on the Android application. Normally, it is possible to enter multiple stops in a route – up to nine to be exact. Once you arrive at the first stop, simply press “Continue” to move on to the next route. But for several weeks, a nasty bug prevented us from going to the next step. If the “Continue” button was visible, it did not respond when clicked, forcing the user to manually re-enter the next stop to get a valid route again, and to repeat the operation for each new step of the route. journey. In short, a great waste of time! Fortunately, the problem is resolved!
Indeed, Google has developed a fix that it has incorporated into its latest update, version 11.131.0102 of the Android application. To check the version number of the application, simply go to the settings, then to “About, conditions, confidentiality”. As the deployment is gradual, it is possible that the update will not be available immediately and that you will have to wait a little.
