“I left with the feeling that I had not been able to do enough for the neighborhood, even though I did my best,” Heimgartner explains. “Everything is on edge there in the neighborhood. Healthcare, the neighborhood teams, Veilig Thuis, but also the police are under so much pressure. It is very difficult to really make a difference. If the work becomes too heavy and the workload increases, then people will fall over. I also come out of a difficult period, the book is a conclusion to that time.”
