The flow of refugees and migrants to Europe has increased recently, not least to the Italian island of Lampedusa.
Both Germany and France have put an end to more asylum seekers, after the countries received large numbers of people during the year.
“Immigration has given the countries internal political problems, and they also believe that Italy is not doing what it should when it comes to, for example, registrations,” says SVT’s European correspondent Ulrika Bergsten.
Jessica Rosencrantz wants to see a similar attitude towards the refugees on Lampedusa, as she believes that quite a few of them have actual reasons for protection.
