Utrecht – Today is July 1, which means that the abolition of slavery in the Netherlands and Suriname was celebrated and commemorated in several places in our province during Keti Koti. Actress Rosa Weekers, half-Surinamese and half-Dutch wrote a monologue for the occasion and performed it today in the HKU Theater in Utrecht.
