In the middle of the press conference, Donald Trump started rummaging around in his desk.
And found a letter from Joe Biden.
– Thank you very much. I might not have found it for months, he told the reporter who made him look.
So was Trump’s installation

After the ceremonies in the Capitol and the victory rally with the supporters in the Capital One Arena, Donald Trump returned to the White House for the first time since he was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
There he continued to sign presidential decrees while answering questions from reporters.
Lay in the box
One of the questions was about whether Joe Biden left a letter to his successor in the White House.
Trump said he didn’t know and started rummaging through the drawers in his desk.
And there it was – an envelope addressed to “47”.
– Thank you very much. I might not have found it for months, he told the reporter.
Trump showed the envelope to the cameras, but then left it on the table and chose not to read it right away.
The president was asked questions on a number of different topics.

Pardons stormtroopers
Trump said, among other things, that he believes he can reach an agreement with Denmark on Greenland.
He also said he is planning a meeting with Russian President Putin.
He also attacked Joe Biden for pardoning members of his family and the politicians who investigated the storming of the Capitol after Trump’s loss in the 2020 election.
Among other things, Trump called the Republican Liz Cheney, who led the commission in Congress that investigated the storm, a “fool”.
At the same time, the president himself chose to pardon 1,500 people who were involved in the storming.
Some of the people on the extreme right who have been sentenced to long prison terms are also expected to be released after having their sentences shortened.
Other presidential orders that Trump signed in the White House include one that designates foreign drug cartels as terrorists. Another triggers a state of emergency at the US southern border with Mexico.
Leaving WHO
He also signed an order for the US to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO).
Trump also signed the order extending the deadline for Tiktok in the US by 75 days to find an American buyer. It is now unclear what will happen to the hugely popular app in the US.
The president, who was previously in favor of a ban on Tiktok, said he changed his mind because he started using it.
– And remember that Tiktok is primarily for young people and children. If China gets information about children out of it, we probably have bigger problems than that, Trump said in the Oval Office.
Earlier in the evening, he signed nine orders in front of an audience at Capital One Arena.
Among those documents were an exit from the Paris climate agreement and one that means the end of remote work for federal employees.
