Roope Hintz shone as the hero of the Dallas Stars in the hockey NHL. Hintz scored two goals in a 4–2 win over the Ottawa Senators. Hintz, chosen as the number one star of the match, scored Stars’ 1-0 and 3-2 goals.
Dallas introduced a new Finnish player in the match, when Arttu Hyry made his NHL debut. Hyry played almost nine minutes and was left without power points.
Ottawa’s goalkeeper played Leevi Meriläinenwho made 21 saves in the match.
Jääskä’s NHL debut in a Carolina shirt
The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Florida Panthers 3-1 in the battle for the top of the Eastern Conference. in the ranks of Carolina Juha Jääskä played his first NHL game. Jääskä got a good eight minutes of playing time in his debut.
Carolina’s 2-1 winning goal was initiated by a Finnish striker Jesperi Kotkaniemiwhich slid past the Florida goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. Kotkaniemi was still lying in front of the goal, when by Jaccob Slavin the shot hit the net.

Anton Lundell scored Florida’s only goal. The match was quite sad for the Panthers captain To Aleksander Barkovas he was on the ice for all of Carolina’s goals.

Powers 1+1 to Mikko Rantanen
Colorado Avalanche Mikko Rantase had a 1+1 RBI night in a 6–5 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Rantanen came to power in the third period, when he scored with superiority and passed of Jonathan Drouin 5-5 handicap.
Devon Toews tied the game for Colorado with 48 seconds left in overtime. As Buffalo’s goaltender, I was blown away Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 23 saves.
Ovechkin goal closer than Gretzky

– When you are on the sidelines for so many matches, you have to try to play short shifts and play hard. Sometimes there are no goals, but when you get one, it feels much better again, Ovechkin said.
