Romelu Lukaku moved to Napoli from Chelsea this week.
A recent confirmation of Napoli, who play in Serie A, Italy’s top football league Romelu Lukaku got off to a great start in his new club.
The Belgian star striker scored his team’s 1-1 equalizing goal against Parma on Saturday night, when the actual game time had already gone into extra minutes.
Playing in front of their home crowd, Napoli was able to celebrate a 2–1 victory when André-Frank Zambo in Angui scored another hit for the team right in the closing moments of the match.
At the end of the match, Parma had to play with one man less, because Zion Suzuki received a red card in the 75th minute.
Until 2021, Lukaku had a contract with Premier League club Chelsea, but spent the last two seasons on loan in Serie A, first at Inter and then at Roma.
Napoli has collected six points from the three matches they have played and is fourth in the league table. In the top spot is Inter.
