Rome hosts the exhibition Grace and innocence Images of divine

(Finance) – Rome raises the curtain on “Grace and innocence. Images of divine and human motherhood”. The exhibition, hosted at the museums of San Salvatore in Lauro in the monumental complex of the Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni, from 20 to 31 Marchis dedicated to an eternal and contemporary theme developed through the works by 20 artists from the School of Sacred Art of Florence. There are also two sections reserved for special guests.

Curated by Giorgio Fozzatiformer director of the Florentine institution, the exhibition uses the texts of Giancarlo Polenghi and the installation project of Antonio Biccari, which accompany the visitor on a journey that invites you to reflect on the themes of motherhood, grasping its natural and spiritual aspects. An exhibition itinerary that was created to enhance the complex reality of the School of Sacred Art and includes works of painting, goldsmithing and sculptureand is also enriched with other collaborations.

Also expected one series of events designed to capture the interest of specific audiences . Friday 25 March the University Master in Sacred Art will be presented and to follow the Holy Mass celebrated by Msgr. Mariano Fazio, auxiliary vicar of Opus Dei. Saturday 26 the concert of the David String Trio, with music by Beethoven, Schubert and Dohnanyi.

One special space is dedicated to Paola Grossi Gondiguest artist who expresses himself with contemporary language through experimental and traditional techniques, who presents a preview of a new series: the polyptych of the Joyful Mysteries.

Also present works of two artisan excellences Florentine, Gabriele Masellimaster in wood restoration, e Paolo Penko, goldsmith master, designer and sculptor. Also on display is a Swiss pine wood sculpture by Andrea Biancosculptor from Bolzano trained at the School of Sacred Art in Florence.
