(Finance) – The photographic exhibition was inaugurated today “Rome Expo 2030: eternal evolution”, hosted in the “Piazza” of Terminal 1 Departures of Fiumicino airport, which has just been expanded with the opening of the new boarding area A and where the bust of Salvator Mundi is exhibited, the last work created by Bernini in 1679 from the Basilica of San Sebastiano outside the walls and loaned by the Fondo Edifici di Culto (Feci) of the Ministry of the Interior.
A photographic installation, in a path of 20 panels, to tell the best known and most innovative faces of the capital: from fashion to cinema, passing from major events to hospitality, up to the great architectural and technological innovation. The exhibition, curated by ANSA and opened on the occasion of the inspection visit of the BIE, Bureau International des Expositions, was created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at the instigation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajanitogether with the promoting committee EXPO 2030 Romeand was set up thanks to the availability of ENAC, which is activating various initiatives in support of Rome’s candidacy, which sees Fiumicino airport as the gateway to the city and our country, and of the Aeroporti di Roma company.

The president of ENAC, Pierluigi DiPalma underlined the importance that Rome would have in hosting Expo 2030.”It is a great opportunity for the capital and for the entire country which seeks to best represent the beauty of Rome”.
The exhibition is part of AdR’s more general strategy of promoting the Italian cultural and artistic heritage to Italian and foreign passengers.
From tomorrow until Friday the president of Bie, Dimitri Kerkentzeswill be in Rome together with four inspectors from the Bureau International des Expositions, and will have institutional meetings and will carry out a series of visits and inspections in the city to evaluate Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030.
