In 2010, Romain Tischenko was the first to win Top Chef against Pierre Augé who took part in this season. Very discreet, the then 24-year-old candidate seduced viewers. The following year, everything came together for the cook who had previously worked for chefs Nicolas Masse and William Ledeuil. In September 2011, he opened Le Galopin, in the tenth arrondissement of Paris, which he came to a few years later. Three years later, he decided to join forces with his brother, Maxime, room manager and sommelier, to open a dining cellar, La Cave à Michel.
