Roma Termini new seats to improve the comfort of travellers

(Finance) – As part of the redevelopment of Rome Termini, Great Rail Stations has installed 164 new sessions in the main public areas of the station. Most – explains FS News, the information portal of the FS Group – have been positioned in the atrium, opposite the new ticket offices. Another 20 have found space between the two new lounges of the railway companies and finally 40 have been arranged along the rubberized tunnel that connects the entrances of via Giolitti and via Marsala.

“To underline – reports FS News – the careful design, defined in agreement with the Superintendency to recall, in a modern key, the style of the original wooden benches present in the station”. The new seats will have a longitudinal shape, with the addition of armrests that increase comfort and functionality. The structure is made of steel, while the support surface is made up of suitably treated wooden slats.
