Ex-member of the Pink Floyd band Roger Waters is suspected of incitement against a folk group after he appeared in a Nazi-style uniform at a concert in Berlin last week, police said Friday.

– The outfit resembles the beard used by Nazi officers, explained the representative of the Berlin police Martin Halweg.

Roger Waters is known as an ardent supporter of the Palestinians. Among other things, his concerts have seen a huge inflatable pig decorated with a Star of David.

Waters has denied being anti-Semitic. He has said that he opposes the policies of the state of Israel, not the Jews.

Waters has been performing in several German cities in recent weeks as part of his This Is Not A Drill tour. The last concert in Germany is scheduled to be played on Sunday in Frankfurt.

Waters left Pink Floyd in 1985.
