Now the Frölunda trainer is brutally honest about the duo’s latest interaction.
– He makes it sound so easy, says Rönnberg to Expressen.
Roger Rönnberg and Niklas Wikegård have not met on the ice. But outside, they have met many times, and it has a habit of heating up between the Förlunda trainer and the former Djurgård trainer.
Rönnberg vs Wikegård
Both Rönnberg and Wikegård are two straightforward and clear gentlemen who are not shy about saying what they think. The duo usually also have different opinions. When they meet, their personalities tend to clash and result in fights.

And they meet quite often, the two of them. Rönnberg is often interviewed by the hockey studio in connection with certain matches. Wikegård often sits there as a hockey expert with SHL broadcaster TV4. However, they have, of course, happened that the duo interacted without starting to quarrel.
Honest words
Maybe the times Rönnberg has held back? That is what he tells Expressen that he did recently, when he was asked by the evening newspaper when he lied last.
– It was for Niklas Wikegård in a TV interview when he asked about the referees and I said I wasn’t upset, says Rönnberg in the interview.

The 52-year-old was also asked which expert on TV it is that makes him swear.
– Most recently it was Petter Rönnqvist which had a very thin analysis. Otherwise, it’s mostly Wikegård. Many of them make it sound so easy.
A fun detail is also that the hockey coach was asked who is his favorite in the film or television world.
– Gunvald Larsson. He is clear, says Rönnberg with reference to the character from the famous Beck films.
