Some people never learn from their mistakes.
Roger Rönnberg admits in GP’s podcast “Klubbland” that he has been caught for speeding several times.
– It’s like that with idiots, says the Frölunda coach.
Frölunda has begun to slip behind in the SHL’s table top after three straight losses. On Thursday there was another blow, 2-5 against Färjestad. The trainer Roger Rönnberg was furious afterwards and he was unmerciful in his criticism of his own players.
– The worst effort we have made in the 11.5 seasons that I have been in Frölunda’s booth, he says to Sportbladet.
Roger Rönnberg was put against the wall
The fact is that the loss against Färjestad is not the only defeat that Rönnberg has had to talk about publicly recently. When he was on Göteborgs-Posten’s hockey podcast “Klubbland” earlier this week, it was an invited guest who put him on edge and forced him to admit his mistakes.

Grunden Bois chairman Joakim Andersson was with as extra presenter when Rönnberg was with. Gruden Bois is a sports association in Gothenburg for boys and girls over the age of 7 with various forms of intellectual disabilities. Andersson is used to putting sports profiles against the wall in the “Hot seat” segment in Grunden Boi’s own magazine, so he drove hard with Rönnberg.
– Have you ever received a speeding ticket?, was one of the many questions that were asked.

Roger Rönnberg is then forced to admit that he broke the law several times. He has been caught on more than one occasion.
– Many times, unfortunately, he replies.
The last time was two years ago when he was going to his cabin.
– Do you know what happened then? It was a speed camera that has been in the same place for ten years, he says.
– That you don’t learn?, says Joakim Andersson, to which Roger Rönnberg replies in his usual, funny way:
– It’s like that with idiots, we learn more slowly.

It’s great that you dare to invite yourself, Roger. You will be missed in the SHL next season. Continue to be as you are – but try to drive the car a little slower in the future.
