Roger Lundgren exposed to assault rape: “Blood everywhere”

Roger Lundgren exposed to assault rape Blood everywhere

The court expert Roger Lundgrenor “Royal Roger” as he has also been called, had managed to turn 50 when he was assaulted and raped. He had been on his way home from a party in the summer of 2023 on Södermalm in Stockholm when his eyes went black at Nytorget.

Twelve hours later, he woke up in his own bed with blood everywhere, something he tells about in his book “Eljest”.

Roger Lungren: “Who the hell wants to rape me?”

It would take time before Lundgren could accept that what he had been subjected to was rape. In the book, he talks about the acceptance that would finally come, after a long time of therapy.

– You cannot understand that this can happen to you. I just turned 50, who the hell wants to rape me? There was a lot of that kind of debt settlement. It has taken me a long time, and a lot of therapy, to understand what this is all about. And precisely this that rape is not a sexual act, it is an act of violence, says Lundgren in an interview with Expressen.

The day after the assault-rape, the police manage to secure leads, but no suspect is ever arrested.

– I hadn’t had time to shower, so they could secure tracks. They did too, what this means is that they have found a man’s sperm in my underwear, which is not mine. But it didn’t show up in the DNA register, he tells the newspaper.

In December of the same year, he broke his femoral neck, which forced him to stay at home for several months. For the newspaper, he describes it as if life caught up with him. At the same time, the writing picked up speed.

– I have probably never been as mentally strong as I am right now. There is also a great deal of anger in what has happened, I am very angry at this perpetrator who has taken this liberty against me and my life. That anger must not poison me as a person, but it can become a driving force to do something good, he says to The Express.
