Israel’s military says five rockets were fired at southern Israel from Gaza early Wednesday morning.
In a statement, the military says that all rockets were stopped by the country’s air defenses.
No Palestinian group has yet claimed responsibility for the shelling, which came just hours after reports said Israel had begun to withdraw from the Jenin refugee camp after two days of large-scale raids.
