Leersum – On an estate in Leersum, someone with a metal detector yesterday came across a rocket from the Second World War. The Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) examined the explosive and found it safe enough to move, after which it was detonated in a controlled manner at the Doornse gat.
