Robin has been stuck for hours in the queues: “Disaster”

In total, Robin thinks he will have spent nine hours in the car before he can get home to Kävlinge. He has just had to turn towards Hässleholm after being stuck on route 23 for just over an hour and a half. Before that, he was stuck in the kitchen chaos at E22.

– It was an expensive trip from Kristianstad. Almost an entire tank has been used, he says.

In addition, he does not know if he will be able to turn home at Hässleholm or if he needs to drive all the way to Helsingborg to continue the journey home.

Baby got to warm up in the car

In the stationary queues on the E22, Robin says he saw a lot of sour faces from other motorists. Among other things, he met a family with an electric car, who could not get the car running. The family had an eight-month-old baby with them.

– Then I told them that they can come and warm up in my car. I felt sorry for the baby.

Robin himself has a daughter with a high fever at home who he would like to get home to as soon as possible. And early tomorrow morning he has to get up and go back to work. He says that it feels frustrating to be stuck in the queues. He has never been stationary for so long and after the chaos on the E22 last winter, he is critical of the Swedish Transport Administration’s handling.

– It wasn’t that long ago that there was a disaster on the E22 and then it was thought that the Swedish Transport Administration had learned a lesson from it. But they really haven’t got that.
