The European Under-20 competition was organized in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Roberta Luostarinen won bronze at the under-20 European Championships in Serbia. Competing in the 50 kg category, Luostarinen defeated Azerbaijan in the bronze medal match Elvina Karimzada with a score of 10–0.
The European championship was won by Ukraine Aida Kerymova. Switzerland won silver Svenja Jungoto whom Luostarinen succumbed in the semifinals.
