The Netflix documentary Sr., which will premiere on the streaming service in just a few days, explores this question.

Director Chris Smith accompanied Robert Downey Jr. and Sr. for three years before Robert Downey Sr. passed away in July 2021. Now the documentation is being released, which is both a cinematic homage and a personal portrait.
