After several serious accidents with A-tractors, there is great interest in the proposals for tightening the rules that the Swedish Transport Agency is expected to present on Tuesday next week.
One who wants to see tougher action is Robert Spencer in Sollebrunn in Västra Götaland, who collided with a tuned A tractor last year.
– In the curve, I saw a white combi coming speeding into the front of our car. I don’t know what could have happened, I’m just happy that there were as few injuries as there were, he says.
No one was held responsible for the accident, but after the A-tractor was found to have been manipulated to go faster, the 15-year-old driver was convicted of illegal driving.
