It was just after 8:30 that the police and ambulance were sent to the address in Vellinge, Scania. There, several masked perpetrators are said to have broken into a villa.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the residents, a man and a woman in their 50s, have been tied up and then robbed. However, they should have managed without physical injuries.
The perpetrators were armed with a gun and allegedly came across valuable watches, among other things.
Several police patrols with dogs are participating in the hunt for the suspected robbers and the villa is cordoned off pending a forensic examination.
The police are investigating the incident as aggravated robbery.
