At 6:04 p.m., the police received a call about a suspected robbery. The staff must have pressed the burglar alarm in the store when a person entered and displayed a weapon-like object and took goods and money.
Then the person disappeared.
Is the person already known?
– I cannot comment on that, says Lars Hedelin, press spokesperson for the Bergslagen police region.
Searched with dog
After half an hour, a suspected perpetrator could be arrested.
– The dog patrol did a brilliant job and caught up with the young person.
At one o’clock the person was released and Social Services must be involved.
Why was the perpetrator released?
– Because it is a young person, says Lars Hedelin.
No one was physically injured and according to the police, no expensive goods were involved.
The police have filed a report of aggravated robbery and the preliminary investigation is active and more witnesses are to be interviewed.
