After losing consciousness after being kicked in the head, the victim was woken up by one of the perpetrators saying “give me the syringe”.
One of the perpetrators pushed an insulin syringe into the back of the victim, who lost consciousness again. When blue light personnel found him in a pool of blood on the floor moments later, part of the syringe remained in his back. Doctors judged in questioning that the dose believed to have been injected was life-threateningly high.
The perpetrators left the apartment with a tablet, mobile phone and chef’s knives.
A neighbor called the police, who were able to arrest two men shortly after. They are now sentenced for aggravated robbery and weapons offense to prison for five and a half and six and a half years, respectively, reports Gothenburg Post. Both deny wrongdoing.
