(Finance) – “The round table on road safety promoted by Dekra Italia together with other founding partners represents a significant moment of discussion between companies, institutions and stakeholders to formulate proposals and provide an objective contribution to the debate towards the ‘Vision Zero’ promoted by European Union. In this sense, it is a priority to address the problem concerning the fleet in circulation with particular regard to cars and commercial vehicles”. This is what he stated Toni Purcaro, Executive Vice President Dekra Group and President Dekra Italyon the occasion of Roundtable on road safety promoted by Dekra Italia, in Rome, at the ACI headquarters.
“The challenge – he continues Purcaro – is to discuss the prospects linked to technological innovation and identify fiscal and economic measures, such as the ACI proposal for ‘social leasing’ without neglecting the fiscal aspects to improve the competitiveness of rental services and sharing , all favoring the transition and starting from the assumption of technological neutrality. In this regard, the issue of infrastructural sustainability also arises on which it is necessary to intervene especially on inter-urban roads”.
