Your article does a good job of analyzing the “whatever the cost” policy of our rulers in the face of crime in “priority neighborhoods”. I have roots in Roubaix and I can confirm it to you. This city benefits from everything: schools, technical school, media library, sports hall, social centers… but nothing helps! Criminals and drug traffickers rule the roost. Nahel case: and the parents?

There has been a lot of media coverage of Nahel’s passing. This one is obviously regrettable, but he did not stop at the injunction of the police, had neither a driver’s license nor insurance, had already had trouble with the police and was not 18 years old. I am appalled by the abandonment of discipline and authority in families or at school. The policies of the past twenty years have consisted of seeing nothing and seeking social peace. I am in favor of the abolition of family allowances in the event of the parents’ deficiency since this seems to be the best way of making them responsible. I have not (yet) taken the step of the RN, because of its absurd economic proposals, but wouldn’t this finally be the opportunity to make my anger heard, covered by the ideas of the left-wing sores and LFI relayed by the press? It is time to put an end to a useless, even harmful, organization of national political activity. I also deplored the pitiful debate that took place, and I add the disappointment of the role of the so-called reformist unions (the CFDT and the Unsa, in particular). The debate should have focused on the limits of the distribution model with probably a dual system: a universal device (preferably with points) and an individual device (known as capitalization), but I admit to being an old technocrat far removed from ambient populism!
