Riot Games announced that it will hold a donation vote

Riot Games, developer and publisher of hit games like League of Legends and VALORANT, announced today that it will hold a donation vote that offers players around the world the opportunity to identify nonprofits they want Riot to support. The Riot Games Community Impact Fund collaborated with Riot’s regional offices and GlobalGiving to select 84 nonprofits in 28 countries and territories that Riot believes engage in effective and meaningful activities. Riot creates a donation pool for each of them by sharing the 6 million dollars collected through various in-game donation campaigns among countries and regions according to their participation rates in these campaigns.

Players will be at Riot from December 12-22. website Visitors will be able to learn about selected nonprofits and select the organization they want Riot to donate to. When the voting process is over, the organization with the most votes in a country or region will have half of the donation pool allocated for that country or region. The remaining amount will be divided in half between the other two organizations. Riot guarantees that the amount donated to each of the selected nonprofits will not be less than $10,000.

“As every year, this year exceeded our expectations when it comes to fundraising for the Gamers Community Impact Fund and participating in in-game fundraisers,” said Jimmy Hahn, Riot Games’ Senior Social Impact Manager. “We think we can help players make meaningful changes in their communities. In that regard, fundraisers are a great way for players to tell us what causes and organizations are most important to their communities. We truly have the best player base in the world. I’m looking forward to seeing which charities they pick!”

The firm also shared a list of 84 nonprofits worldwide. The list of organizations in our country is as follows;
