Ringhals needs more time to restart – should be up and running Sunday evening

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The repair of Ringhals has been completed for a while and all tests have been completed. But starting up again turns out to take longer than expected.

– It’s about starting the reactor to produce the steam that drives the turbines and going through all the systems. As it has been standing still for so long, it will take some time, it is a large factory that is about to start, says Anna Collin, Ringhal’s press manager.

The new start time will now be Sunday 26 March at 20:00.

– Then we phase in the electricity grid and then it takes around 80 hours before we reach full effect.

Halland’s News was the first to report the news.
