Björn Linde resigns as CEO of Forsmark and Ringhals
Björn Linde53, will step down as CEO of Forsmark and Ringhals on April 1, 2025. Vattenfall writes this in a press release. The reason is that Forsmark and Ringhals, which shared a place in Vattenfall’s business unit for nuclear power, are to be split up.

As of April 1, Vattenfall’s business unit for nuclear power will be two business units.
“The change is being made to create better conditions for further developing the performance of the respective operations,” writes Vattenfall on its homepage.

Björn Linde Varberg – does he live in Varberg?
In 2009, Björn Linde moved with his family to Varberg, specifically the Träslövsläge area, according to Halland’s News. The family previously lived in Halmstad.
The family’s villa is 183 square meters in size with a plot size of 1,196 square meters.
The villa in which the Linde family lives was bought for SEK 2,840,000 in 2009, and according to Boolean is today worth between 6,500,000 and 8,280,000.

In 2019, Björn Linde was included as one of the 20 men who earned the best in the entire Varberg municipality, which is not entirely unexpected given his positions.
According to Halland’s News in 2019, Linde had an annual income of SEK 3,516,900. Evenly distributed over the twelve months of the year, this gives a salary of SEK 293,075.
