There are many dungeons in Diablo 4, but not all of them are easy to reach. Find out where to find the Rimescar Cavern dungeon here.
In Diablo 4, there are dungeons that are hidden behind bases and therefore do not appear on your map at first. You will notice this, for example, when you try to activate nightmare dungeons using their seals and the message “You do not have access yet” appears.
One of them is the Roughscar Cave. We summarize which base you have to complete and how you then find the dungeon.
When you conquer bases, you collect XP, so don’t forget to activate an elixir. With one quest, you can even use two elixirs and stack the bonuses.
How to find Rimescar Cavern
Where can I find the Raunarben Cave? The “Rawscar Cavern” dungeon is located in the “Shattered Peak” area, east of Kyovashad. In the area you will find the associated base “Malnok”, which you must capture. As soon as you have captured the base, the “Rawscar Cavern” dungeon will appear in the area.
How do I conquer the base? Malnok is a frozen settlement where a snowstorm is raging. When you go to the area, you will be given the task of looking around. You must then kill the Ice Clan’s Stormbringers, which are shown to you with skull symbols on your map.
After you have killed the three Stormbringers, only the Ice Clan Champion is waiting for you in the middle. As soon as you have eliminated him, you can activate the “Shrine of the Wanderer” and conquer the base.
What is it all worth? Bases are reset with each season, meaning you can conquer them again and again. When you conquer a base, you sometimes get new waypoints that you can fast travel to, as well as 100 reputation points in your region progress.
In general, it is worth completing the region progress because: You will receive important bonuses for each new character (in the same mode). Dungeons also earn you reputation points. You can also level up your glyphs in the nightmare versions of the dungeons, which will give you certain bonuses. You can find out how to best farm and level up glyphs here.
