The men were wearing military clothes, caps and robber hats and wore armbands with the organization’s name on them when they were found in a van stopped by the police.
– They were on their way to the city center to start a riot, the city’s police chief Lee White said during a press conference.
White also told that the police were tipped off by a person who had previously seen the group in a parking lot outside a hotel.
“It looked like they were loading a small army into the car,” White said.
Police also found riot gear, a smoke grenade, bone guards and shields inside the van.
The car was stopped near a park in Coeur d’Alene where a Pride festival was to be held on Saturday. Police had also stepped up their presence in the area due to the incident.
