Rickard Rakell reached the dream limit last night – with 200 goals in his NHL career

Rickard Rakell scored his 200th NHL goal in tonight’s meeting with Toronto, but it didn’t help his Pittsburgh team, who fell 3-2 to Toronto.

Swedish Richard Rakell opened the scoring with his goal at the end of the first period when, via a quick turn of his skates in the left drawing circle, he pulled off a shot that found its way in at the far post.

However, the home team came back and won after that Jake McCabe nailed the final score at the beginning of the last act.

The loss is a heavy blow for Pittsburgh, which is fighting for one of the last two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto’s William Nylander is most likely rejoicing in the win. For his own part, however, he was scoreless this time and is still four points from the dream limit of 100 points in one and the same season.
