Rickard Andersson may have worn a hatred of authorities, according to Aftonbladet’s information.
In talks with the Employment Service, he talked about his diagnoses, social problems and that he was afraid to be without money.
“Rickard expresses concern about not being granted support,” says meeting notes.
Rickard Andersson murdered seven women and three men on Campus Risbergska before taking his own life. Another five were injured.
Following Sweden’s worst mass shooting, the police have mapped the offender’s background in order to investigate an underlying motive.
– What you think is one of the hottest tracks is some kind of hatred for the social and the Employment Service. He must have had to look for a job to get grants and much indicates that the thing about being without money has made him furious, a source has said.
Internship on car rental
Aftonbladet’s survey of the perpetrator shows that he was enrolled at the Employment Service in April 2017, at the request of the municipality.
Prior to that, he had had an internship at a car rental and at a sports shop through the Social Insurance Office and told me that he would not want to work in stores.
Two weeks later he canceled a meeting with the Employment Service for personal reasons. When he was informed that he needed to go for a planning call to remain enrolled, he announced that he then wanted to be discharged.

The manager then asked if he was really safe – but then the conversation was broken.
When the manager later tried to call again, he did not answer.
Contact was resumed in 2018. Then Rickard Andersson stated that he had received activity compensation between 2008 and 2014. Subsequently, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency announced that a medical opinion did not provide the opportunity for continued activity compensation.
“When the activity allowance ended, he used his own savings for his livelihood,” the documents from the Employment Service say.
Enjoyed working alone
He also stated that he liked his previous internship at a car rental and that he wanted to work with it.
“He worked mostly himself and enjoyed driving a car evenly to work. He enjoys working alone, ”the documents say.
Then, in 2018, the Employment Service felt that there was a need to investigate Rickard Andersson’s work ability.
In the conversations with the Employment Service, he talked about his diagnoses, the problems with social interaction and why it did not work for him in the sports shop.
“He says that things didn’t go well in the store as there were a lot of people there,” the documents say.
Later in 2018, Rickard Andersson wrote an e -mail to the Employment Service where he told me that he had been granted support.
The authorities felt that they needed to coordinate the handling and had a joint conversation with Rickard Andersson in May 2018.
Reduced work ability
According to a medical advice that was then discussed, it emerged that he had permanently reduced work ability.
“Rickard considers the same. Rickard expresses concern about not being granted support, ”the documents say.
According to the documents, the parties agreed that it was not relevant for him to be enrolled in the Employment Service, as both he and the care judged that work was not relevant.
