Due to the likely departure of Rick Kruys, who was interim head coach of FC Utrecht from mid-March to the end of last season, FC Utrecht has to look for a new assistant coach. The main candidate for the position seems to be Aleksandar Rankovic. The Serb was already assistant to the new FC Utrecht coach Henk Fraser at both Vitesse and Sparta.
