Action specialist Justin Lin, known for the Fast and Furious films, is not only being considered as the next Spider-Man director. Since the year before last, he has been hired as a man for the live-action adaptation of Sony’s manga and anime series One Punch Man and is currently restructuring his team.
This could make the project a little more interesting to animation fans than two People from the creative writing team of the wild sci-fi cartoon Rick and Morty have been getting involved lately. They are tasked with rewriting the script originally penned by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.

It was revealed via The Hollywood Reporter that Lin has support from Dan Harmon and Heather Anne Campbell. As co-creator of Rick and Morty, he has contributed 71 episodes to the series so far, with at least three episodes to his credit. Sounds like a fitting duo for one too Genre-deconstructing affair like One Punch Man.
Lin also has the film Two for the Money with Charleze Theron and Daniel Craig scheduled for next year’s filmography calendar. He really can’t complain about the lack of work.
