Rick and Morty season 6 reveals Rick as a vengeful serial killer
According to the story, Rick (original voice: Justin Roiland) is not Morty’s (also Roiland) grandfather. Rather, he stole him, sister Summer (Spencer Grammer) and mother Beth (Sarah Chalke) from another Rick from a parallel universe. Because this one killed his family in a bomb attack.
The loss of his beloved daughter and granddaughter left the series’ hero Rick (aka C-137) travel through the universe on a killer tour and hunt down other versions of himself in search of his relative’s killer. He was able to find the killer known as “Prime Rick”, but never.
The bitter origin story was touched upon in previous seasons, but turned out to be a hoax. In a classic Rick and Morty twist, the joke is has finally come true in the Season 6 storyline.

Rick and Morty Season 6 is here from September 5, 2022 weekly at 10:15 p.m on the pay-TV network Warner TV Comedy (formerly TNT Comedy). As a VOD it will also be available on WOW. This is initially the English version. From October 17, 2022, the German dubbed version will follow weekly.
